The Person
Being helped with chiropractic care as a young man inspired me to pursue a career in Chiropractic. After seven years of training and over 17 years in private practice, I have successfully treated thousands of patients and helped them gain relief from neck pain, back pain, headache, arm pain, leg pain, disc problems and more. Undoubtedly, the citizens of the UK will soon find as Americans and Canadians now know that Chiropractic Works! It is a very effective non-drug, non-surgical option in health care."
The Doctor
"I practiced in my hometown called Sept-Iles in Canada for 8 years before moving to the UK in 2004. I found then that the key factors in developing a successful practice are Results and Service! When someone goes to a chiropractor, they expect a high level of service. After studying several specialized chiropractic techniques I found that my success rate has improved further. I then enjoyed seeing people getting better from conditions they have been told to live with. I enjoy working in the UK as I had to take upon the challenge of developing my profession in a country where chiropractic is still at its infancy."
The Educator
"I always enjoyed teaching and leading new chiropractors in practice. I have taught to over 12 chiropractors in order to show them the way to a successful practice. My goal is also to educate as many people as possible to the benefits of chiropractic care as a way to become and stay healthy. I give health conferences to my patients every week and enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with others. I have recently developed a spinal health presentation for companies interested in cutting costs related to back problems."
The Developer
"Every day I ask myself what more I can do to help peoples and their health. Chiropractic is a passion for me; it is much more than a job.
Additional specialized technique training
"In addition to my training to become a Doctor of Chiropractic, I have several certifications in many techniques such as upper cervical Atlas Orthogonal technique which is particularly efficient with very sensitive patients. Our recent acquisition of a proback pulse also gave us the oportunity to help even more people. This additional training has allowed me to develop and implement rehabilitation protocols for not only athletes, but also for our patients who are interested in staying healthy once they have recovered from a musculoskeletal injury."
Membership in professional associations allows me to draw from the experience of my peers. We can discuss difficult cases, share techniques that are effective and safe, and broaden our base of knowledge in order to benefit you, the patient.

Using extended chiropractic training to treat the whole body from the tips of your fingers down to the pads of your toes, extremity care isn’t just for the elite athletes of the world but for all you weekend warriors or even couch potatoes who still deserve the best.
I come from a medical background with my father being a GP and my mother a midwife... so my future as a Doctor seemed clear cut, only one problem ...they were miserable (as far as work was concerned!), that’s when I stumbled upon a chiropractor; someone who talked about helping people with a passion and enthusiasm previously unseen! Via Glamorgan University & over 5 years practising in Brighton I’m looking forward to new challenges and sharing some of my innate positivity and knowledge with the welcoming people at Proback Clinics.
My passion for sport set a fire in me to one day become a leading consultant to the sporting world, I have begun this long process by completing a yearlong post graduate qualification in extremity work (CCEP Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner). Now as one of only 500 elite chiropractors worldwide I can confidently approach extremity joints with a wealth of knowledge and expertise, treating all manors of sporting or repetitive injuries to arms, legs, ribs and even the jaw...I have also found that stabilising these areas can have amazing benefits in stabilizing spinal problems.
Dr Ben Payne DC, Chiropractor
To be pain-free felt incredible! The headaches and upper back pain that affected my performance as a competitive tennis player and golfer had been removed after visiting a chiropractor and realising the vast benefits to my overall well-being. It was then that I wanted to train as a chiropractor, having the ability to remove the cause of the discomfort and making a significant difference to a person’s overall health.
I am passionate about chiropractic and share my enthusiasm with patients from a week old upwards (no upper limit!). I take the title of doctor of chiropractic very seriously and treat every patient with the highest degree of professionalism. My primary aim is always to assist the patient in becoming free from pain as soon as possible and reduce the impact on daily living. My secondary aim is to ensure that the patient remains pain-free and leads a healthier lifestyle. If I felt chiropractic can’t help I will refer to the appropriate specialist.
I graduated from the world-renowned Anglo-European College of Chiropractic with a Masters in Chiropractic with Merit and have successfully treated patients in Bournemouth and
In addition to treating the most common problems you might associate with chiropractors, such as back pain, headaches, neck pain, shoulder/hip/knee pain, sciatica and trapped nerves, I have a special interest in the treatment of sports injuries. Being a keen sportsman myself, enjoying golf, tennis, squash and skiing, I have a strong focus on the prevention of future injuries.
I take great pleasure in giving talks to various institutions, including sports clubs and small businesses and feel strongly about getting involved in the local community to help promote a healthier society.
I look forward to meeting you, and helping you take your health to the next level.
